Based out of Columbus, Ohio, The Sam Muccio Trio is a unique combination that fuses multiple styles together to achieve a fresh and contemporary take on both jazz and pop music.  The trio has an energetic sound and strives to create musically intricate arrangements from recognizable tunes.

Sam Muccio is a Columbus based pianist with over 10 years of professional experience, both locally and nationally.  While living in Austin, Texas he performed as a soloist and with groups regularly.   Sam has held contracts with major cruise lines to the Mediterranean, Panama Canal, and Alaska, playing professionally for months at a time.  Upon his return to Columbus, he has continued to gain significant experience as a soloist as well as part of groups in a variety of styles.   Sam has played with The Conspiracy Band as well as starting his own trio.

Sam is completing his Bachelors of Music in Composition from Capital University.  Here he has been a part of the 2019 Honors Scholarship Concert competition for his composition, “The Rain Man.”
